TOUR DESCRIPTION
Day 1
You will be collected from your Chiang Mai hotel or guest house and we will proceed to drive towards the Samoeng area. On route, we will stop by at the local market where the guide will buy some fresh supplies for the trip into the hills. The drive will continue to a small elephant camp where you will start your morning’s activities with the elephants. You will have some time feeding and getting to know the elephants before joining (optional!) the elephants in their favorite mud pools! After the mud, it will be time to get clean and you will walk the elephants to the river to bathe and scrub the elephants and join them cooling off in the river. At the end of the morning, it will be time to say goodbye to the elephants and lunch will be served at the elephant camp. After lunch it will be time to start the trekking, You will trek for around three hours through the jungle stopping for a refreshing shower/swim at a waterfall. Our final destination of the day will be a White Karen hill tribe village. This village will be where you overnight and your guide will prepare your evening meal. Enjoy the evening with your guide and fellow trekkers.

Day 2
The local roosters will usually ensure that you arise early in the morning for your breakfast which will be prepared for you by your guide. After breakfast, we will set off for a trek to a further waterfall where we can take a break and cool down. The trek will continue for around one hour to a Shan Village. The Shan village is where you will be picked up and driven to the river where you will embark on a bamboo rafting trip. At the end of the rafting, you will be served lunch before boarding the transport again for your transfer back to Chiang Mai.

- Depart Chiang Mai at 08:30
- Local market visit
- Short drive to the elephant camp
- Elephant interaction and feeding
- Elephant Mud spa and Elephant bath
- Lunch
- Trek to waterfall
- Trek to Karen Village
- Overnight at Karen village.
Day 2
- After breakfast trek to waterfall
- Refresh and cool down at the waterfall
- Trek to Shan Village
- Short drive to the bamboo rafting start point.
- Bamboo rafting
- Lunch
- Return to Chiang Mai around 16:00
